We had a great time at the May Tauranga Homeshow, with plenty of people stopping to have a chat.

We found, after talking with a lot of people, that one of their biggest pain points is a general lack of communication from their property manager. This in turn causes a great deal of frustration and worry, something that we strongly feel investors should not have to worry about.

Aside from the points raised that various property managers do not respond to emails and phone calls for days on end, investors also reported that high value work was commonly being carried out on their rental property without prior approval. This in turn meant less pay out to owners without warning- not very nice if you have a mortgage to pay.
